They can now pursue their writ petition before a single-judge bench of the Calcutta High Court. The parents seek a further investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into their daughter’s homicidal death. Their goal is to uncover the alleged involvement of individuals beyond the primary accused, Sanjay Roy.
